Unfortunately, due to the strong winds forecast for this evening the Hometown Holiday Horse Parade has been cancelled.
We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the organization of this event, particularly the parade chair, Diana Stebbins. Diana volunteers her time for many months throughout the year to help plan the parade and we truly appreciate her participation.
We would also like to thank all the sponsors of this event, particularly our Platinum Sponsors, Edison State Community College, Greenville Federal, and Wayne HealthCare for their continued support of the parade.
Main Street Greenville also thanks the City of Greenville, the Greenville Ohio Police Department, and the Darke County Sheriff's Office for assisting us with the safety of the event. We also thank the City of Greenville Street Department for their work in decorating our downtown area and managing the traffic control barricades.
Also, a special thank you to Jeff Yantis and the entire group of volunteers from the Treaty City Amateur Radio Association, the Darke County Amateur Radio Emergency Service and all of the surrounding counties for assisting us with barricades during the parade. They provide over 20 volunteers and we are so thankful for their support and service.
We hope you will join us next year for the 15th Annual Hometown Holiday Horse Parade on November 17th, 2018!
