Small Business Saturday!

Small-business-saturday-logo.jpg

Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday held on the Saturday after U.S. Thanksgiving during one of the busiest shopping periods of the year. First observed in 2010, it is a counterpart to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which feature big box retail and e-commerce stores respectively.

By contrast, Small Business Saturday encourages holiday shoppers to patronize brick and mortar businesses that are small and local.

This year, Small Business Saturday falls on Saturday, November 29th. To help us celebrate the day downtown Greenville - we have the following events scheduled:

  • Shop and dine at participating businesses to be entered into our Win the Window Conest!

  • FREE Horse Carriage Rides downtown Greenville from 11 am - 3 pm

  • FREE Family Photo by Brittany Carol Photography from 2-4 pm

  • FREE Gift Wrapping at Readmore's Hallmark from 10 am - 6:30 pm

  • FREE Balloons for the Kids!

  • The first 250 shoppers who visit Main Street Greenville's office at the NEW Darke County Welcome Center and show us their receipts will receive a FREE Shop Small Canvas Bag! (421 S. Broadway)

  • After shopping, visit Main Street Greenville's office for the opportunity to WIN even more prizes! (421 S. Broadway)

  • Visit with Santa at The Coffee Pot from 1-3 pm

Thank you to Second National Bank for sponsoring our Small Business Saturday event!
