    Meet Hannah - 2017 Intern

Hello all! My name is Hannah Coakley, and I have recently been hired as the newest intern for Main Street Greenville. I am so excited to have this opportunity, as I have lived in Greenville Ohio for my entire life, and have been overjoyed in seeing the recent progression our town has made. A bit about myself, I am nineteen years old, and live at home with my parents, three younger sisters, and fourteen animals (talk about a zoo!). When I’m not busy studying, or making coffee

    Volunteer Opportunity (7.21.15)

Can you help? Main Street Greenville is looking for volunteers to join us downtown Greenville tomorrow night (Tuesday, 7/21) at 7 pm for a Downtown Clean-up. For about a 1/2 hour we will pull weeds and pick-up trash to help keep our downtown looking great! If you are able to volunteer, please join us at the gazebo in front of the courthouse at 7 pm. Thank you! #volunteeropportunities #volunteers

    Board Development Seminar

Yesterday, we attended an excellent seminar on non-profit board development by Marc Smiley. Great information! Our board members are all volunteers who care about our downtown district. I truly appreciated two of my board members who took the time to attend the board development training with me yesterday. Thank you to Betty Birt and Travis Fliehman! Also, thank you to Heritage Ohio for hosting the seminar! #education #volunteers

    Ted Grote Building

Last summer, Ted Grote decided to retire and sell his building after YEARS of service to the community. Please click here to read the article by Bluebag Media: http://bit.ly/1RkNOoi Make sure you read the beautiful poem written by Janet Wideman about the process of helping Ted with his process of saying good-bye to his beloved space in downtown Greenville. A group of volunteers helped him move out of the space. It was a true honor to help this man who dedicated his life to d

    THANK YOU!

Sending a HUGE thank you to all of the amazing folks who showed up for our first Downtown Clean-Up Crew of 2015! We had over 35 people show up to help us this evening, which allowed us to pick-up trash throughout the entire downtown district in under an hour! We also had enough time / man-power to assist with the removal of a dead tree that will be replaced very soon. Thank you to ALL involved for showing pride in your downtown and your community. We truly appreciate yo

    Thanks, Phyllis!

I wanted to also thank Phyllis Mong for once again volunteering to help pass out the pumpkins during our pumpkin giveaway yesterday during A Day of Harvest. Phyllis we appreciate your help and of course going above and beyond to make it even more fun by dressing up. It always makes me smile and I know it makes others smile as well. Thank you! #volunteers
