First Friday Returns March 4 (and March 5!) with Show Us Your Green!

Come celebrate the return of First Friday with Show Us Your Green on Friday, March 4 and March 5! The two-day event, hosted by Main Street Greenville, features shopping specials and a chance to win gift cards from participating businesses.

Here’s how it works: Stop by the Welcome Center or a participating business (see list below) and pick up a Show Us Your Green card. Spend a minimum of $5 at a business listed on the card and receive a sticker. Cards with the most stickers will be entered into a drawing for gift cards from the participating businesses. Gift cards, valued at $15 each, will be awarded individually.

Purchases made during normal business hours on Friday and Saturday are eligible for stickers. Staying with the First Friday tradition, businesses will remain open until 9 p.m. on Friday.

Show Us Your Green cards can be turned in at the Welcome Center or placed in the mailbox to the right of the front door. Please make sure to list your name and contact information.

Participants are encouraged to wear green to help Main Street Greenville kick off the First Friday season!

I like that participants can spend as little as $5 to get a sticker and enter the gift card drawing. While planning a soundtrack for the event, I started looking into an ai music extender to stretch out some favorite local band tracks. It would be cool to have extended mixes playing during the evening shopping hours.

The two-day First Friday event with the sticker card system is a clever way to support local businesses. For anyone creating subtitled videos to promote similar events, you can easily convert srt to vtt for broader compatibility across video players.
