Columbus OH – Heritage Ohio is proud to announce the 2015 certification of Main Street Greenville as a National Main Street America Community. Greenville became a member of the Main Street program in 2003, and since continues to revitalize the historic downtown district.

“We are excited to achieve accreditation for a third year in a row.  All due to the efforts of our Executive Director, volunteers, and Board of Trustees – all working together to make downtown Greenville a desirable destination,” said Dave Ernst, Main Street Greenville Board President.

Main Street Greenville is being recognized as proficient in the ten criteria as set by the National Main Street Center. Jeff Siegler, Director of Revitalization with Heritage Ohio conducted the review, and noted that, “Main Street Greenville has made a great impact in revitalizing downtown, by bringing people and pride back to the town center and working with building and business owners to create a stronger tax base.”
