Well, that sure was the BEST First Friday we have ever had! Over 4,000 people attended our Artisan Stroll last Friday, the weather was just about as perfect as it could have been, and the vendors were top notch!
I need to give a HUGE thank you to my committee of volunteers who have been planning this event since March. These ladies are truly amazing and they are such a blast to be around. This event would not be possible without their hard work. Please join me in thanking: Susan Fowble, Patti Jetter, Kim Murray, Nancy Person, Fran Brubaker, Deb Niekamp, Peggy Jasenski, and Mary Saintignon. Love you ladies and can't wait for next year!
Thank you to all of the vendors for sharing your talents with our community! We hope the event was successful for you and we hope you will join us again next year!
Thank you to our sponsors: Interim Healthcare and AAA. Without the financial support of our sponsors, First Friday events would not exist. We appreciate your support!
Thank you to all of the downtown businesses who stayed open late, offered something fun, or hosted artists in your location! We appreciate all of you!
And last but not least, thank you to everyone who joined us for the event! A local resident shared the following post on our timeline this evening and I could not agree more: "What a crowd downtown tonight. There is something really special going on here. Bravo to all that came downtown and to those that made it happen."
Something special is going on. We are so thankful to be a part of it and thankful others want to be a part of it as well. So very cool and so very fun!
