Main Street Greenville will feature Theater on 3rd during September's First Friday event. Theater on Third is a free outdoor movie located on W. Third St., in the parking lot behind Bach to Rock. The event, sponsored by Greenville National Bank, will take place on Friday, September 4th. The movie will begin at dusk, around 8:30 pm. Volunteer Opportunity (7.21.15)

Can you help? Main Street Greenville is looking for volunteers to join us downtown Greenville tomorrow night (Tuesday, 7/21) at 7 pm for a Downtown Clean-up. For about a 1/2 hour we will pull weeds and pick-up trash to help keep our downtown looking great! If you are able to volunteer, please join us at the gazebo in front of the courthouse at 7 pm. Darke County Gems

Be sure to stop by the Darke County Welcome Center (next to the KitchenAid Experience) to see 10 beautiful paintings of Darke County gems, including Maid-Rite, the circle, the Annie Oakley statue, Memorial Hall, the courthouse, Garst Museum, the Great Darke County Fair, the Palace building on Broadway, Bear's Mill, and the Swinging Bridge! The Welcome Center is open from 10-5 on Monday-Friday, as well as during next month's First Friday event, the Artisan Stroll, which takes place on August 7th from 6-9 pm! During the Artisan Stroll, the Welcome Center will be selling postcards created from the paintings. Donations will also be accepted, with the goal of turning these beautiful paintings
